Senior Development Manager - Property - Pre-delivery

Role Overview
This is a front-end development position that offers the opportunity to a large project from early-stage feasibility through planning and into pre-construction. The first scheme will focus on a mixed-use development in NW London, forming part of a wider strategy to unlock value across the portfolio. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, consultants, and delivery partners to drive the development process, ensuring projects are commercially robust, well-designed, and deliverable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the pre-delivery phase of multiple property development projects ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with design, construction, and commercial teams to monitor project progress and resolve any issues affecting delivery schedules or quality.
- Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project progression.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality across property delivery phases.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in property development management, particularly in pre-delivery in schemed £100m+
- Strong knowledge of UK property development legislation, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant qualifications such as RICS accreditation, or equivalent professional certification, are highly desirable.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
